I love the Leon mk3, and I love what they have done with the mk4.I just hate the fact that VW seems to have curtailed and held them back, in order not to outshine/outdo the Golf. I appreciate that this may be subjective, but if you come from an already premium-ish brand, don’t expect to be blown own away. The quality inside.An improvement, but once again 20% at best. The one I test drove was the First Edition too.Sound system on the older Leon better overall than the new one. The 1.5 eTSI 150ps engine is good and the gearbox is good…But again, that’s where it stops. I am absolutely not bad mothing the Leon…I have one.I’ve had it for 3.5 years now… My opinion….improvements are more cosmetic than anything else…Basically, nothing worth shouting about. Went to Seat to see what they new Seat Leon is all about…After all, the AP for the hatchback and estate for Q4 seems to be very good indeed. Currently an owner of a facelift 17 plate Leon 184 DSG.
